Paya Group, a major provider of card processing services to retailers, businesses and charities, today announces the acquisition of the MultiPay Global Solutions gateway business.
MultiPay operates both in the UK and internationally, serving major retailers.
The MultiPay acquisition extends the Paya Group gateway interests following the acquisition of the B2B focused Interactive Transaction Service Limited back in September 2022. Since acquisition and now operating as the Paya Gateway, it has been significantly enhanced with new features and functionality, additional acquirer connections, new terminal hardware as well as softpos accreditations.
The MultiPay acquisition brings both complementary technology and a presence in major retail, adding to Paya Group's existing expertise serving B2B, charities, the unattended market and small businesses. It represents a strategic opportunity to accelerate the Group's transformation of its gateway services which already stand out as one of the only independent omnichannel multi acquirer multi hardware multi softpos gateways available.
